New Feature - BLF Key Configuration

Helix Telecom has applied software updates to our system over the weekend.   The new updates allow customers to configure BLF or Programmable Keys on their devices to monitor the following changes:

  • Configure BLF keys to monitor for callers holding in a queue for an available agent while allowing call transfer to the queue.
  • Configure BLF keys to monitor conference bridges for active participants with one-touch access to the conference.
  • Configure BLF keys to monitor for new voicemail messages on any extension with one-touch access to the voicemail box.

These changes do not impact Directed Call Pickup or Queue Agent Login Toggles.  

These features are considered experimental at this time.  Customers who require stability should not implement these features until they have been tested by other customers.
