Moving Recordings Repository
Helix Telecom offers all customers free Automatic Call Recordings. Recording, storing and occasional retrieval of all calls for even a fraction of Helix Telecom's customer base requires enormous processing and storage capacity. Each year Helix Telecom begins the process of adding additional capacity necessary to meet our customer's needs.
Helix Telecom will be doubling our storage and bandwidth capacity for 2018-2019. The migration will require 2 maintenance windows. The first window is scheduled for Friday March 2, 2018 between the hours of 6pm and Midnight PST. The second window is scheduled for Saturday March 3, 2018 between the hours of 6pm and Midnight PST.
Calls placed or received during the maintenance window are expected to be recorded and stored in the old storage facility. It is possible a small subset of these recordings may not
be migrated during the transition.
Helix Telecom staff will be happy to manually move any missing call recordings from the old storage facility upon request. If you believe calls recorded between 6pm and Midnight PST on March 2nd or March 3rd are important then please visit http://fixmyphonesystem.com
and submit a ticket requesting a manual copy of all call recordings from the old storage facility to the new storage facility. All Call Recordings stored on the old system will be deleted permanently at midnight on March 9, 2018.
Of course Helix Telecom staff will complete a number of test recordings to confirm the new system is working properly. If Automatic Call Recording is important to your organization then we strongly encourage customers to access the call recordings interface on Monday March 5, 2018 and confirm call recordings are accessible. Helix Telecom also encourages customers to make and receive a few test calls then check later to confirm the test recordings are available for download.
Any customer with questions or concerns should submit a ticket by visiting http://fixmyphonesystem.com.
; The Infrastructure Department will do our best to answer any questions. We appreciate everyone's time and patience while we work to improve our service.
